Harvey, who describes himself as "a bit of a rebel," vows to fight the government. Charged and acquitted of violating obscenity laws in North Carolina, he was indicted again last year in Utah federal court. In 1986 they raided Harvey's offices in Carrboro, N.C., searching each of his 118 employees. " But government prosecutors aren't smiling. Harvey likes to say that the actors and actresses in these and other films that he distributes are merely engaged in "sex between cheerfully consenting adults.
